Every love story is unique. Valentine’s Day is a night to share those stories. Mike, Shannon, and Bander are here to deliver an improvised musical about your love! When your eyes first locked, your first date, that one fight that almost tore you apart, even the time your jealous ex showed up at your door. Join us as we interview one couple and bring their story to life with songs. Bring your date for a night of completely unplanned entertainment with three musical improv veterans.

Jon Bander is a Character and Sketch teacher at UCB, and a current/former member of Betty night/Characters Welcome. Jon has also performed at Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival and worked for The Second City aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines. Otherwise, he performs/teaches standup, musical improv, sketch, and characters nationwide. TV credits: MAX’s Search Party, Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Master Of None, and The Characters. Most people call him Bander – you can too!

Shannon Krowicki is an actor, singer, and comedian based in NYC. She currently performs on Magnet Theater’s musical improv house team: Secret, Secret! Shannon also performs with EMPIRE, a "super group" featuring NYC’s best veteran musical improvisers. As an actor, her performance highlight credits include many off-Broadway and regional theater productions, local commercials and TV/Film, most notably: Nickelodeon, The History Channel, Starz!, Amazon, and the Investigation Discovery Channel. 

Mike is a comedian, actor, singer and writer who calls Columbus home. He spent over a 10 years performing in NYC at the Magnet Theater,  People’s Improv Theatre, Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.  He has performed locally at Hashtag, The Nest, and Natalie’s. Mike has had the pleasure of studying improv with the likes of Frank Spitznagel, Will Hines, Gil Ozeri, Chris Gethard, Amey Goerlich, Jordan Klepper, Bobby Moynihan, and more.

Feature Bridjet Mendy is a standup comedian from Columbus, Ohio. Using personal experience through a child-of-immigrants lense, Bridjet’s style is quirky, story driven and self-deprecating in a fun, zelennial way. Her delivery and wit are dry, but never dull. She always has snacks in her purse. She has performed at Middle Ground Festival, Don’t Tell Columbus, Secret Society, The FunnyBone, The Detroit Women of Comedy Festival, Fountain City Comedy Festival and more. She is a cast member at The Nest Theatre and Hashtag Comedy.

Host Hannah Romes is a standup comedian, improviser and sketch writer based out of Columbus, Ohio. She now performs and produces standup, improv and sketch shows throughout the state, and is the co-owner of Hashtag Comedy Company, an improv theatre and standup club in Columbus’s Art District. Hannah is known for her eccentric, dynamic performances and story-based standup comedy. She includes physicality in all her live performances because her gym membership got too expensive.

Hashtag Comedy Company presents an evening of stand up, improv and laughs at The Attic! Improvisers from Hashtag Comedy will open for the hilarious stand up comedian Adam Minnick. Hosted by Hannah Romes. 
 
About our headliner: 
Adam Minnick is a comedian, writer, podcaster and producer. He has worked at comedy clubs across US cities, such as the Improv Comedy Club in Chicago, the Punch Line Philly in Philadelphia and Harvey’s Comedy Club in Portland, Oregon as well as abroad in Dublin, Perth and Stockholm. Along with clubs domestically and internationally. Adam combines his act of observational humor with stories of teaching, appearances, his wife and his son to deliver a clean and intelligent act that entertains and engages audiences of all ages. Adam’s unique view on life is due in no small part to having spent much of his youth in the small town of Napoleon, Ohio and Perth, Australia and traveling everywhere in-between.
 
His latest project is a film “Forgotten”, which had been accepted to the New Filmmakers Film Festival in New York City. It is a true story based on the lives of his Grandparents who spent time in the prison and slave camps during WWII.
 
Adam has also been heard on 700 WLW, heard and seen on Talk Is Cheap with Rhonda Corey and featured in the nationally distributed magazine “ECLECTIC MAGAZINE” and the book “200 COMEDY WRITERS AND STANDUPS WALK INTO A BOOK”.  His Dry Bar Comedy special “Low Pay and Disrespect” was released in the spring of 2022, and for 3 months it was ranked #2 among the Top 10 Most Watched Dry Bar Comedy specials.

This show will feature new and old cast members, and some of our audience's favorite improv games.
