The Drill improv workshop
The Drill is a free* workshop for improvisers with intermediate to advanced improv training or experience** (or experienced actors with scenework training) and focuses on honing a specific, scenework-based skill. The workshop is facilitated by different community improv veterans who will bring their particular areas of expertise to each session. The workshop runs around 90 minutes (and no more than 2 hours) and is designed so performers work/play with other improvisers and get reps outside of a course or troupe rehearsal.
Spots for each session are limited to 12 and are first come, first served. You must sign up via the form below to attend the workshop. Three wait-list spots will be reserved in case an attendee must cancel. We will stop taking sign ups after all 12 workshop spots and 3 wait-list spots are filled.
On that note, however, please do not sign up if you’re not sure of your availability. We want this workshop to be packed full of value, and attendees contribute to the evening’s subject matter. So please be ready to dig deep and get the most out of the session.
Our next Drill is April 18 at 7pm and will be facilitated by Erik Sternberger. All spots are full for this round, but stay tuned for The Drill next month!
*While this workshop is free, an optional $5 donation is welcomed to help cover space costs and to thank our facilitator for their time.
**If you do not currently have intermediate to advanced experience, never fear! We will be holding all-skills general drop-in jams at another date.
