Founded in 2015, Hashtag Comedy Company has been bringing laughs to the 614 for over a decade. In 2025, Hashtag Comedy Club, the company’s brick-and-mortar comedy club in the Short North, has grown to be a birthplace for independently produced comedy shows, national headliners, and the homebase for many improvisers and stand up comedians alike. Hashtag Comedy Club’s mission is to spark joy in Columbus through quality, live comedy shows featuring stand up comedy, improv comedy, live sketch comedy and more.
One of Hashtag Comedy’s main values is to increase accessibility for performers and producers alike. In addition to featuring nationally touring comedians from Netflix, HBO, The Tonight Show and more, Hashtag Comedy Club also provides a platform for many locally produced comedy shows.
