  • ShadowboxLive's Backstage Bistro 503 S Front Street Columbus, OH (map)

Learn new skills, have more fun!

That's right, it's all the fun of summer camp, but for adults, and with minimal time commitment!

If you love watching Comedy Central roasts, are a fan of a great zinger, or just want to give your grandparents an extra special 60th anniversary, The Art of the Roast is the course for you.

In this class, students will learn the fine art of writing the perfect roast joke (which walks the line of both tribute and condemnation), as well as the skills, tips and tricks to apply to all forms of joke writing (whether you're roasting or not). The best roast jokes are crisp, full of heat and elicit a good mix of laughs and gasps...so come learn how to put that devious mind of yours to work. It'll be just in time to celebrate your boss' big promotion*!

Bill Arrundale is a nationally touring comedian and headliner who has appeared on MTV, and has been a featured writer for the Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen, Joan Rivers, David Hasselhoff, and the up coming Bruce Willis roast.
